Jesus,

Have you and/or Andrew Gillis and John Swenson thought of a video version of your Sonic Transporter + MicroRendu setup?

In other words, a Sonic Transporter w/terabytes of SSD that has all our blu-ray movies and JRiver loaded along with a separate MicroRendu like device with ethernet input but HDMI output? The HDMI output would then connect to any AV Processor. Could make Oppo 95/105 & existing competitors like Baetis Audio, Acoustic Frontiers MS2 etc...a run for the money.

Andrew makes a unit with the Vortexbox operating system that rips and stores movies. These appliances can then serve up the data to DLNA capable devices.
