I'm sure this is funny as hell but I can't understand anything she says. She sure talks funny, what language is she speaking?

Oh, yeah, I must be getting really old. They sucked me right in. If May wasn't the child's name then what the hell is it? And I used to love the whole Abbott & Costello thing when I was a kid.

It only took my lady friend two repeats to get it, but then she was actually a rocket scientist with a genius IQ (okay, she was as chemist at a company that made the catalysts for the oxygen scrubbers on the space shuttle, close enough).  I won't mention how many times the guy had to repeat it for me to get the joke, somewhere between my friend and his.
