I'm a long time fan of Jazz from the likes of Lounge Lizards, Marc Ribot, John Lurie....

A friend gave me this disk called the Legendary Marvin Pontiac.  Liner notes said he was a crack pot from the nut house and Flea & a couple other mainliners found his recording.  They then improvized with the found recordings and released this record.  Story goes thre were never any photos taken of Marvin Pontiac as he felt it would steal his soul.  And as soon as he was released he immediately walked in front of a bus and was killed. I won't spoil the ending but if you are into obscure jazz like the Lounge Lizards you must investigate this recording.

Richard Buckner "Since".  The song Ariel Ramirez is haunting but I can't get it out of my head.  It's an easy one to play if you have an acoustic giutar!  D A G D with some easy picking, the chorus is A Em G Bm A.

I'll probably hate this song eventually because I'll grind it into the ground.  Until then, I'll enjoy it.
