Can we help this guy out with some room treatment and speaker placement?

Do you sit down between the speakers and listen for hours ? Or are these just for back round listening ? If just back round music they could be placed anywhere. Seems a waste using them for were they are now . You could get the same effect for a fraction of the price of the rels by going bookshelf. Maybe sell the rels and downsize to an appropriate size speaker for the room . What type of gear are you using them with ?

I just seen the rear speakers in a picture  . So this is for watching tv and movies ? If so nothing else needs to be done . If you are setting up a 2 channel system the alot needs to be done .

Yeah, you're still choking the life out of your speakers. Pull them out from the back wall as far as possible, and move the left speaker as far from the left wall as possible. Also, experiment with toe-in. 

What are you powering them with? That's not an AVR, is it?

No pre, but power is an Anthem Statement P2.
