With the popularity of vinyl, I would think some of these little Tripath amps etc., would have a built-in phono preamp. Anyway, I'm looking for options for my daughter who wants a turntable. She was looking at the Audio Technica one that has a built-in switchable pre-amp.
I actually have an older JVC turntable that she can have and some small Realistic Minimus 7 speakers, just need a small amplifier.
I was trying to stay away from her having to use another external phono preamp but don't see many options. Plus staying with a simple and small footprint. Something like a Optimus SA-155 but newer technology.
