Timepiece Mini Owners - Longer-term impressions
« on: 9 May 2008, 01:11 am »
Now that some of us have had the Mini's for some time, I wanted to start a thread for longer-term impressions - those you form after you get familiar with the ins and outs of the speaker and have had time to get acclimated to them in your system.

I'll start, although I don't have a lot to say (in the best sense):

-I've had my Mini's for 4-5 months now and all I can say is they sound like music.  They get out of the way in the best sense of the word and simply communicate the musical message.  I could drone on and on about their qualities, but it wouldn't add anything to my thoughts.  They simply convey the intent of the musicians and get you immersed in the music, which is the goal of all this stuff anyway.  My setup isn't great, my room isn't treated and my gear is entry-level Naim stuff, but none of this matters - a testament to the quality of their design.

Bob:  What can I say, but bravo for a great design!!!

It would be great to hear more long-term impressions/reviews of these speakers.
