Redgum is solid state but designed to sound like tubes and they do. Minimalist design on all their components Any of their integrated amps are wonderful. Their CD players are unique
using a computer CD transport and correcting for time errors. Unlike other CD players the transport will be replaceable for many years to come
because it's a computer item not an audio specialty item. Often CD players, no matter how expensive, are toast if the transport breaks and the audio company no longer makes them. Common to all Redgum is a redgum wood front fascia- a thick slab of redgum - 2nd hardest wood in the world.
I have only one of their integrated amps and their CD player so I can't tell you first hand about their other products. Apparently they now have a presence in Canada too.
