Thanks, Poultrygeist - very interesting pics. I have a Miniwatt on order, but it won't ship until the second half of February (they're citing Chinese New Year as the cause of the delay, but many companies like to build an order-book before committing to the next production run, so who knows).

In the meantime, I'm investigating high efficiency speakers. I rather doubt that a single driver can possibly provide the kind of bass and treble that I like, so I'm looking at other designs as well as the Frugel-horn. There are some interesting clones of the old Wharfedale SFB3, and Troels Gravensen has some interesting designs too. I think I'll end up with a much more powerful amp than the Miniwatt, unless I build a hybrid speaker with a SS-driven woofer box and a tube-driven TM...
