I just got a pair of grey bottle Marconi BL63 's from eBay and these tube are even better than my Tung Sol 12SN7's. You do need the adapters though.

Do you get any buzz or hum with the plate cap? I tried some 6F8Gs in my old SinglePower Extreme amp and had to route the plate cap wire very carefully and turn off my desk lamp in order keep the amp from buzzing.

Nice looking tube though. How would you characterize it's qualities?
