Sorry, it is not field convertible. The power transformer would have to be replaced. We made the RM-9's at single voltages (100, 120, 220, 240) as a single primary transformer has better regulation and sounds tighter. We have gone back to single primary in the RM-200 MK II. We will make a dual voltage transformer on a custom basis for those who move around a lot.

Roger,

I got Music Reference RM5 Mk II about 2 weeks ago as I said in another topic.

My RM5 has 120V power transformer for using in US. But AC power is provided under 100V in my area.
So I use RM5 with 100V-120V stepup transformer.

If I use RM5 under 100V AC, I operate only RM5 power switch. Operating only RM5 switch is more safty than operating stepup transformer switch and RM5 power switch. And the RM5 will sound better.

Could I get 100V power transformer for RM5 from Music Reference?
