Do the new production models of the BDA 3.14 use Raspberry Pi 3 or 4?

Since no one has replied to this, I'll take a stab at it. I believe this question has been asked before. If memory serves, the Raspberry Pi 3 and 4 use different connections so the 4 can't be substituted in the 3.14 without a redesign. The 3.14 uses the 3. This came up when there was a pandemic-related shortage of Raspberry Pis.

Yes we had to change from the Pi3 due to the COVID issues.

Thanks James,

My 3.14 was manufactured in April 2022 and was the 10th unit manufactured that month, according to the serial number.
Does it have a Raspberrry Pi 4 or 3?

I know we switch about 6 months ago so I would say it has the newer version of the Pi.

Think there would ever be a chance Bryston would make another entry level unit similar to the BDP Pi?  It appears there is a market for  people who are getting into streaming now who are only interested in streaming from a service.  People who are not interested in file storage just access to Qobuz ,Tidal etc.  Somethin similar to Moons MiND 2 unit.

Something to consider for sure it's just that we are so busy currently there is not a lot of time for more new products.
