Boy, I hope all the new Neo10 variants have better frequency response than this Sounderlink, which seems to have like a 13dB rise toward 10kHz?!  :duh:

wait what... I actually impressed that it is flat down to 100Hz! I don't think the BG goes that low. the 10kHz rise can be EQ'ed out.

Actually, that graph looks pretty easy to work with.  The rise is constant and gradual... easy to deal with in the crossover.  You are probably going to hand off to a tweeter between 1000-2000 depending on the tweeter and horn loading.

Now that I have looked at B&G Neo10 FR graph, which looks much rougher than the Sounderlink, I doubt I can believe that Sounderlink graph  :|

On the diyaudio forum the amt2560 has been measured and a resonance at 235 Hz appears on the measurement.

Guys, Sounderlink hasn't posted one measurement that they took. All of those measurements are copies of graphs that were provided by BG on the Neo 10.

Too bad about the 235 resonance. I can tell you the BG Neo 10 sounds mighty fine all the way up to 10 khz if you e.q. the rise out.

I don't know if they will solve the issue that I had with the samples. If they do then I should be able to have good stock by the end of the year. I will order enough of them at once to keep the price down, and I should be able to offer them close to the old Neo 10 pricing.

Danny - I know I’m bumping a super- old thread, but I’m curious if anything ever will come of your attempts to improve upon the BG Neo10 design.  Is this idea dead, or will you ever consider focusing on it in the future?

We're honestly so swamped with emails, and orders to fill that Danny hasn't had an opportunity to work on a replacement neo10.

We do have a bunch of the "GRS" Neo10 clones in-house to be used as a possible line force for a customer. We just need a frame to test and design a custom crossover. For now, all we've had time to do is run impedance sweeps on them to check for any bad units. So far their measurements have been super consistent, apparently more so than the original BG models. But we wont know how viable they are until we have a frame to test them.

Any update on the Line Force with the GRS Neo 10 clones?   Sure would be great if they work.

We're still waiting on the custom composite frames to be made before we can assemble and test them.

Shortages and delayes have slowed every step of the process down.

So no updates as of yet.
