I checked on that and could not replicate their findings. We are looking at it but nothing says anything is wrong... we cant even replicate those findings.
Hmm. I wonder what's really going on. As reported by
www.allwhois.com, the authoritative DNS servers for the av123forum.com domain are:
Name Servers:
ns1.thresholdwebservices.net
ns2.thresholdwebservices.net
No IPs specified for either server, so any other DNS server attempting to resolve a host in the av123forum.com domain would first need to obtain an IP for one of the Threshold DNS servers before it could forward the DNS resolution request. I attempted to resolve those hostnames through the Qwest, Comcast, Visi.com, and Verizon DNS servers -- all of which failed. That'd prevent users of those DNS servers from resolving
www.av123forum.com, or at least causing the resolutions to work only intermittently.
Hopefully the host company will get this worked out...
