Tech support
« on: 8 Oct 2012, 11:08 am »
Hi all,

I run my music library on a 2GB external hard drive and didn't do a backup as recently as I should have ...... and of course the drive goes dead.  I'm hoping it is recoverable.  Does anyone know of a good tech support person in the Boston who might be able to help me?  I'm at the intersection of the 90 and 95.

Cheers
Will

My information is about a decade old so make sure it's still valid. Tech Fusion at Alewife in Cambridge used to be really good.  Be prepared to pay significant money for the recovery.

Don't try any self recovery tools. They tend to make things worse. Good luck.

Dave Fonseca is a really good guy. Tell him Patrick Demasco sent you.

My two cents. Hopefully, the external housing died but the drive is still intact and can be transferred to another housing.
