Not long ago they released a new model called the R 101 (https://www.amazon.com/Robot-Coupe-R101-CLR-Polycarbonate/dp/B0071WU3QG/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=robot+coupe&qid=1665473962&qu=eyJxc2MiOiI1LjA3IiwicXNhIjoiNC43MiIsInFzcCI6IjQuMjkifQ%3D%3D&sr=8-3&ufe=app_do%3Aamzn1.fos.08f69ac3-fd3d-4b88-bca2-8997e41410bb). It's just slightly smaller than an R2 but still had a 3/4 hp motor! 8) On the one hand I probably don't need that much machine for home cooking but I'm really disgusted by how feeble most of the consumer processors are nowadays.

I have Cuisinart 14 cup Elite in die cast aluminum. Sells for 350.00. I’m perfectly satisfied with it.

How old is yours? Cuisinart used to be pretty solid but over the last two or three years they seem to have really cheaped out on 'em.

I’ve had it for a little over a year. It’s built solid. Pretty darn heavy also.
