How do I link my gallery to my posts?

Merle,

Go to your gallery, click on a picture, copy the URL beneath the picture, come back to Post a reply, hit the "img" button, paste the URL, then hit the "close Tags" button.

You can also hit the Quote button on this post and see what I did.

You guys should set up a Gallery like what we have for the NYAR.... http://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?topic=12689 ...make it a sticky. Then its easy to find. Check with JoshK...he knows how its done...me, I just look at the pictures.

No, I don't want to post a picture in a post, I want to add a link to my posts that will lead to my gallery. I've looked over my profile page and don't see where to add the link. How do you do that?

Hi Merle

Go to your gallery and copy its address, then go to your profile and paste it into your signature, surrounded like this http:// addy but with no spaces... this will make the actual address as a link appear in your signature. If you'd like "My Gallery", or whatever to replace the address then follow the address with... ] Whatever [/url] again with no spaces.

If that doesn't work, replace the first [url] with [url=

Go find your gallery and right click/copy your URL. Then.....
In you profile, in the box marked signature, type it in with this format (but don't use quotes...they're only there to show you what to type in, and don't leave a space after the equals sign, it's only there to show you this code....if I didn't leave a space the code wouldn't show...it would show a dummy link in blue called My Gallery):

"My Gallery"

In other words, type in (without the quotes) ""
then, without skipping a space, type in "My Gallery" or whatever you want the link to say
then finish with a ""
