Guy13... I like your posts but you should stop the 2nd grade vocabulary.. we get it that maybe it is  cool and all in "planet vietnam" as you LOVE to say.. ( I have spent 17 years in London and Indonesia but does anyone know about it? No, because they do not care) ..

" I told him that wasn't to solution to his diabetes problem.
I told him first to quit the white bread and the muffins which he eat
on an industrial level and many other fast food stuff...
He told me it won't be easy.
I told him he need will if he don't want things - his health to worsen"

I can imagine there are Vietnamese who write better English than you... yeah??

Do better and make us all proud....

Hi all,
I now eat exclusively Pink Salmon  Wild Pacific
(Clover Leaf brand)
Product of USA,
That's what's writen on the thin can.
4.29CND$ for a 418g can at Walmart.
For the same price,
that's a three times bigger can than a tuna can.
Before starting eating the GMO fish,
I will let the scientifics people do more research,
they might find something in the futuree,
it did happen in the past that something that was declared safe
for human consumpion was not...

Hi londonbarn,
I am almost sure that you don't know that,
but I am a French Canadian and my mother language is French.
I've learned English all by myself and I know it shows.
There might be Vietnamese writing - speaking better English thatn me,
but I am sure they are rare,
spending 20 years in Vietnam and talking to thousands of Vietnamese
at the English Speaking Club and other Vitnamese at many , many seminars I gave.
So please be tollerant...
Thanks for your comments and have a nice day.

Guy 13,

I understand that English is a second language and that you're doing the best you can - but why wouldn't you at least use the built in Spell Check?

Sure, there are words it doesn't know (GMO), people and places it doesn't know, and it doesn't check for grammar and context (using there for their, too for to, etc.), but it certainly would clean up more than a few misspellings.

Just on this page alone it would find thatn, Vitnamese, tollerant, writen, scientifics, futuree, consumpion, woud, refrigirator, oinion, spuper, betts, brocoli, cali flower, boilled, celeri, yogourt, dring, reasonnable, undirectly, speach, srong, and jeoperdize, ..........

.......... and offer to change them to that, Vietnamese, tolerant, written, scientific, future, consumption, would, refrigerator, onion, super (or supper?), beets, broccoli, cauliflower, boiled, celery, yogurt, drink, reasonable, indirectly, speech, strong and jeopardize!

Congratulations on speaking a second language better than myself, but don't be lazy and instead take advantage of this great tool right in front of you!  ;)

Hi all,
this morning I went to IKEA and bought a useful accessory
for the making of my green tea.
I will show a picture in my next post.
Now, this afternoon I am staying home and do some cooking.
I will do a batch of steel cut slow cooking oat meal.
I will add some Stevia powder
and some cinnamon and cocoa powder
to give some color and taste to my special oat meal brew.
I will make about a dozen serving and freeze it for future consomption.

Hi all,
this is what I bought at IKEA for 6.99 CND$ + tax.
With that contraption,
no more leaves or small tea particules and residue swallowing.
Tea taste better with it.
Good purchase.  :thumb:

Hi all,
that man I was talking about in an earlier post with his blood sugar at 11+%
well seems like all my advices were useless...
He still eat fast food and pastries
and he more or less told me that his doctor is talking care of his diabetes
by increasing his pills strenght...
He tinks that's the solution.
Pills solve everything...  :duh:
Well, I can't say I did not try to help him.
He will probably know he's doing wrong when it will be too late...

I agree. For brewing whole leaf tea, I've not found anything that functions better than a stainless steel sauce pan. You can maintain the right brew temperature easier, the leaf has the greatest possible room to expand while brewing, and it's easy to strain the tea through a fine mesh strainer when done. I've got a rather large collection of tea pots collecting dust now

HiPhoton46,
thanks for your comment.
I am not sure if that strainer will work for me, but what the heck,
for only 0.50$ what do have I to loose other than 0.50$ and a few minutes
trying it.
How do you make your tea dark, I like the leaves to soak in hot water
for a few minutes ???

Personally I'd look into one of these for tea:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003KYSLNQ?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creativeASIN=B003KYSLNQ&linkCode=xm2&tag=f05f-20

I can't see maintaining 180 or 190 or 175 degrees in a saucepan.   At least not on the cooktop I have.

Hi ctviggen,
thanks for the link.
Look like a nice products,
however, I use the old whisle non electric stainless steel kettle.
After boiling, I let it cool down then poar it in the tea pot.
I paid 10 CND$ for it, can't get cheaper than that !

I've not seen that product, looks interesting. One more thing to make room for on the counter top though (like I need another kitchen gadget - not  ) You're right about not being able to maintain a 175-190 temp on the stovetop. I use a stainless steel lined pot clad to a heavy thick metal bottom. After I get the water up to brew temp, I throw the tea in, put the pot's lid on and then plop it on a thick silicone mat to hold in the heat as best one can. It definitely holds heat better than any ceramic teapot I've ever used, even if you preheat the pot with some boiling water first.

Hi all,
I come back with the subject of that guy with diabetes type 2 (11.5%)
that want to go the easy way with pills.
I saw him today having lunch with a big plate of white rice and maybe only 10%
of his plate being vegetables.
In addition, I also learned that he is an heavy smoker...
He's really not helping himself with that...

Tonight I saw him eating pizza with his metaphormin medication (750mg)
and... and... with a can of coke.
I told him: Are you serious ?
And he told me: WHAT ????
So, I walk away from him.

A diabetese diet.
(Only one piece)

My diabetese diet, but on Christmas ONLY !

Merry Christmas to all diabetes type two.
For one day, let your blood sugar go sky high,
then the rest of the year, be reasonnable and stick to your diet
and-or healthy food eating.

Guy 13
Diabetes type two
or should I say
former diabetes type two ?

Hi all diabetic type 2
and health concerned AudioCircle members.
(According to Google translate it's '' diabetic '' and not diabetes or diabetese ???)
Today I have ordered from Amazon (So easy with them)
some powdered and liquid Stevia (0 calorie sugar substitute)
I use it daily with my yogurt and tea (Lipton that is)
green tea is raw, nature, plain....
I add to my Lipton tea some unsweetened almond - coconut milk
and of course, some Stevia.
With my yogurt, I add some Stevia and cinnanmon - cocoa unsweetened powder.
Below pictures of the products mentionned above.
(Any comment - suggestions are all welcome)

Guy 13

That's what I was using for the last two years.
