Hologram M4 Turbo S pad thread standart
« on: 16 Dec 2017, 01:56 pm »
Hi, newbie here :)
Moving between houses lost one speaker pad :/ So now, I'm thinking about upgrading my Hologram M4 Turbo S speaker pads / spikes with these: http://herbiesaudiolab.net/spkrfeet.htm (Giant Threaded Stud Glider).
However, I don't really know what thread type Clayton uses. Maybe somebody could help.
Thanks in advance!

This is direct from Clayton:  The M3 thread size is 1/4 - 20.
I asked him a month ago because of these:  http://www.isoacoustics.com/products/gaia-series/gaia-iii/

Thanks!
I believe M3 and M4 uses same type of thread.
By the way, those GAIA III looks amazing. I also was thinking about them, but they're so expensive!
Did they made big difference in sound reproduction quality for you?

Regarding speaker spikes, check out  oregondv.com ..... I bought their massive 2" tall x 1 1/2" wide steel spikes in standard 1/4-20 thread for $16.00 ea. These are powder coated in black and heat cured. Not your basic whimpy spikes and do the job.

Sorry for the delay in responding.  I posted my opinion here "Isolation Footers on Spatial M3TM":
