HOLY COW...what a system. It wasn't even burned in totally. It didn't sound it's best, but man is it great. It was better than any other system I've heard to date and "ve heard a ton of the mega expensive ones I won't name. Just musical and detailed. I know things got better after I heard them, so it's hard to imagine how great they are sounding now, but I"ll be back to audition them again for sure.
Who else has been blessed to hear them?

If System 9 is a pair of Model 7 Mk IIs, M7-HPA amp, and subs then yes I've heard them and named best of show in 2016 & 2017 at RMAF, just stunningly good!

I'm confused about the separate subs...the Model 7 already has subs built in. Are they disabled and replaced, or supplemented?
-
The subs are crossed at 50hz.
-
Yes that's the System 9. Now his new under 20k amps are being shown at CES (I'll make a separate post). Just so much great sound and company growth.
-
the new high pass amps are $15 K the pair, preliminary CES pricing, i am sure that will solidify soon
i have not heard the < 50 hz subs but my room is max’d out now....

$15k is not bad at all.

I wonder if it comes with a 30 year fixed rate mortgage?

considering they go up against 30k or more amps, it's hard to say they are overprice in this sonic world we live in. Expensive? Yes, all audio gear is. Even 1k for speakers is expensive. We all chose what we want to spend and for 15k, these amps I have a feeling will be a good value for the high end, Can't wait.
