Designing a Phono Preamp - Part VI: Study guide

While I'm working on the PCB layout, below are links to some very useful information. You will find a background info related to what was discussed here in previous chapters.

First, an excellent article with lot of historic information and technical details. Easy read at that. Keith Howard's "Cut and Thrust" from March 2009 issue of Stereophile:

http://stereophile.com/features/cut_and_thrust_riaa_lp_equalization/

An excellent reading, highly recommended!

Those technically inclined should not skip Walt Jung's site:

http://www.waltjung.org/

Check out Library and RIAA sections for some interesting articles.

Finally, Joe Curcio's application note at National's website

http://www.national.com/an/AN/AN-1651.pdf#page=1

and another interesting app note from National:

http://www.national.com/an/AN/AN-346.pdf#page=1

You will find some nice technical reads here, from undisputed experts and talented writers.

Of course, there is a lot more useful info out there, however, the links above are, in my opinion, quite enough to make reader comfortable in uderstanding sound engineering practices relative to a phono preamp design.
