Best time to call Klaus is after 10:00pm EST. He suggests this as well. If you don't get him at 10, keep trying, he'll find his phone eventually.

I called him about 7PM to 8PM from Oregon and he picked up by the third ring both times.

yes i find he is usually reachable in the early to mid evenings, central time, on weekdays

A few years ago I was having a small problem with my Odyssey amp. I had emailed Klaus a couple of times but had no response. I decided to call him (in the evening, his time) and eventually caught him in his lab. I described the problem and, after a brief pause, he said, "Oh, Bill. Yes, of course" He remembered me, my correspondence, and best of all, we were able to work through the problem. Klaus is one of the great guys in this industry. You may need to be persistent but he will take care of any legitimate problem. Just keep trying until you reach him.
