Got a 2B-LP Pro (XLR inputs) and have a few questions.  Noticed that one of the XLR plugs is pushed in.  I can connect a cable, but it doesn't have a satisfing 'click', and is easly pulled out.  Easy fix?
Also, once I pluged it in (power), it has a rather loud hum--sounds like 60Hz so I guessing a loose transformer?  Should I just send it in or should I open it up and see what's up?

The seller will certainly work with me to have it sent back so just wondering about the best solution.
Despite the hum it sounded good--though had to turn it up from my usual settings with my 4B-ST Pro.

HI,

The XLR may not be making a connection so the hum is ground loop.
I would send it in for service.

Hello,

I recommend a quick call to Bryston service.  They were able to pin point a similar problem I had with a pre-amp.  I returned it, it was fixed and back in my system in six days!!

If the same problem has appeared in other units in the field, they undoubtedly already have a fix for it.

Good Luck
