Kraemer Designs D~400 Hypex NC400 Mono Amp Build

I will be starting these in the next month or so. The PS board and amp module will be bolted upside down in the case, the bottom will have a slotted and vented cover.

The over all size of the case will be 3" by 8" by 12". One solid chunk of aluminum and a 1/4" thick bottom cover will make up the case.

The name "KD~D400" stands for "Kraemer Designs~ Digital 400"

Updated the model as i un stitched the front nub. It wasn't suppose to be there

Added slots on bottom cover for venting. Also added a hole pattern on top for more venting.

I am charging $500 a case. 5 have been claimed. I do not want to turn this into a huge run but will consider making a few more sets.

They will take 4 hours to make a piece.

Thanks Bruce!!

I ripped apart my TT~2 today and put a nice finish on it at the shop. It's all bubble wrapped up ready to be anodized now. Next is the Aluminati speakers, man 14 pieces to make pretty

it's going to take a day or two staying after work to get them ready to go.

I think you're going to find in the end that your cooling vents were a bit overkill.. These aren't that kind of amp

But whatever the design looks great.
