These are a pair of Aspen Audio's fabulous AKSA 100N+ amps. The case sides are Honduran Mahogany and the tops are quarter inch plywood covered with Pommele Sapele veneer. The cases have six applications of Danish Oil and were wet sanded with 400, 600 and 1200 grit. After they were good and dry I hand rubbed the heck out of them with and old tee-shirt. The the center of the front panel has a single blue LED. I fitted a copper shield around the circuit board to protect from EMI. These amps are *absolutely quiet*. I cannot hear anything from the amp with my ear pressed against the speaker. A time or two I even double checked to be sure the amps were turned on. They'll have to do for now...
