Hi all.
This isn't quite power conditioning, but it's related...
I have several accessories in my audio system that aren't in the signal path, but use cheap SMPS wall-warts that are almost guaranteed to be noisy. These supplies all use USB-A connectors to supply 5V to the accessory. (Accessories include my IR repeater, the hub for my universal remote, etc..)
I'm hoping that I can find a decent linear power supply with a minimum of 2, and ideally 4, 5VDC USB-A connector outputs. Does anyone have such a device that impressed them enough to recommend?
I could look at something like an
HDPlex and get a bunch of adapter cables to deal with its XLR outputs, but that's really overkill, and it would be much cleaner to have actual USB outputs so I can just use the DC power cables that came with each device.
There is a
15W 2-output PS available from China from a bunch of suppliers, but I'm not sure how the actual quality lives up to its marketing. (Plus, I'd prefer 4 outputs instead of 2.)
Any suggestions?
Thanks!
