Good race! I'm a Kyle Busch fan for many years but Truex deserved this win and the championship. He dominated the series all year, and no catching him tonite!

One more F1 race before the winter racing drought.

NASCAR is the number one reason I look toward the advancement of driverless cars. This isn't a sport anymore than competitive typing is. It's just machine operation. Could all be done by remote control. Golf is more exciting.

I'm not a fan either, I occasionally watch part of race now and then.  But I once read, in Car and Driver I believe, of a Formula One driver that did a stint in NASCAR and couldn't believe the precision that was required to put the car in just the right spot to maintain enough speed to be competitive.  Still pretty boring except for the crashes.

It looks easy.. until you try to do it. I find having a guy to 'like' or wish to do well, or a few of them.. helps. MY #1 used to be Jeff Gordon. Now Joey Logano.
(I never though much of Dale Jr)

And yeah I was happy with #78 winning. Good driver, good team.
Go Denver Mattress! (though I realize Bass Pro may have helped too)

If only golf could be played at 200 mph...I *might* like it.   *:shake:*

I drove a NASCAR prepped car in Vegas a number of years ago.

Scared the crap out of me.  The fixed driving position, the car constantly pulling to the left, it was VERY removed from driving a normal car.  I never got over 115mph, but was never comfortable.

I have gone 160mph on a motorcycle before, and done tons of high speed work on them on and off track.  I figured I would be good to go.  NOPE.

Way more respect now for those guys.

But, I don't watch it much.

Congrats to the winner!
