Title: Kudos for service

The tweeters blew on my 1801 TL speakers.  I had communications with David Ellis (designer) and Jim Salk and Oskar Wrondling (both manufacturers) about my problem.  All were very helpful.  I ordered replacements from Jim on 9-10 pm and received the tweeters on 9-13.  He soldered pigtails with connectors to the tweeters to connect to the wires from the crossover.  He said it would take 20 min and that is all it took.
Excellent customer service.  I very pleased with this purchase.  You do not often to get to speak personally with designers and manufacturers.

This is good news!  It's rare to hear a service related story, but I'm not surprised!

That’s been my experience with Salk as well.  :thumb:
