I like my 37 inch LCD, and then having the option of my 100+ Panny projector.  Much less weight and easy to move around.  Which I tend to do.

JQP, yeah those pixels are huge.  I will take my minimal screen door effect anyday.  My next projector in about 3 years won't have that feature, and will be at least 1080p

Admittedly, my SDE might be worse than that Panny plasmas pixel size, but hey.... I saved almost $69,000. 
Besides, from a seating distance of about 17-18 feet, SDE isn't an issue on mine. I can't see it until I'm "around" 5' or closer to the screen. I've never seen "the dime test". That's a good reference point for comparison. I might have to do that tonight, just to see.
