WOW is bout' all i can say,just gave a listen the boys from Nazareth,do-in' --Hair of the Dog--,top self stuff,right at the top of their game.------now for the question of the day,--if the album looks good but still snap-crackle-pops ,what is actually happen' here,static or dirt or ???? 
Static, dirt, compounds left from the original pressing, noise from the master tape - could be all of those things. Getting rid of or minimizing these things are what brings you to fuller sonic delights with vinyl.
It's often time-consuming, but most often worthwhile.
