this expo was great about 8+ years ago but you can still find
some good vinyl there. It comes up here this time yearly.

Thanks for posting this Wayne, just what I needed, a way to spend more money. :)

Perhaps a road trip is in order tomorrow. Maybe I'll run into you after your son's hockey game.

When I heard the anouncement on the radio, that is exactly what I thought :D

The EXPO is on Sunday, Mike. Not tomorrow :?

Doh! Thanks Wayne, apparently my brain didn't agree with my eyes. Not the first or last time for that I'm sure.

This is exactly the reason I don't own a turntable :-D

You don't own a turntable because the "special hopitals" all said you're not allowed to have sharp objects such as needles. :nono:

No snow in town yet but the mountains have been getting some.

I picked up 16 records at that show for $100. I puposely limited myself to $100 so I wouldn't break the bank. Most of them were very inexpensive. 14 albums for $50, the other $50 was spent on only 2 records.  :o  I know that Wayne picked up some goodies as well, not sure how many.

I was kept to a short time there by the presence of my son.

I don't think I made it around to visit all the tables. I did pick maybe 8 lps. They had a very good selection and very good prices. It is a good thing I didn't stay any longer as my wallet would have been considerably lighter.

I have mentioned to Ron Welborne, who is in charge of the upcoming Denver Audio Fest, that he should get together with the promoters of the vinyl show and combine them.

I can't think of a more fun audiophile weekend than listening to various rigs and then looking though over 100 vendors worth of vinyl.

Oh yeah, they had CD there too, I saw one table with a whole bunch of MO-Fi gold CDs.

I think that's a good idea, both sides would benefit.

I picked up 6 lps nothing special, years ago there were alot of independent people selling their collection.
For some reason I get alot of bad sounding lps from dealers even though they look good to the naked eye.
