Congratulations Frank
« on: 1 Jan 2009, 12:22 am »
Feb. 09 issue of The absolute Sound, page 38.  " BEST SOUND FOR THE MONEY " at  the 2008 RMAF.  This has been a long time coming. I have been with AVA for about 30 years and I know how much crap he had to put up with in some publications.  Frank has certainly paid his dues, he certainly deserves it.  Oh by the way, that speaker feller aint too shabby either.

This is what Frank posted before leaving for Denver

We will be displaying again this year with Jim Salk and his famous Songtower and Veracity HT3 speakers in Room #2002 on the second floor of the main tower at the Marriott Denver Tech Center.  No waiting for the elevators to see us this year.

We will have our new amazing Insight solid state line and our Ultra hybrid products playing along with our TAS "Editor's Choice" T8 pure vacuum tube preamp and DAC.  We can build it your way!

Please come in and say hello and stop to listen for a while.  We love to meet our many friends again.

Best regards,

Frank Van Alstine

I just saw the article in TAS today (Best sound for the money at RMAF).  That's sure a nice way to start the New Year.

Best regards,

Frank Van Alstine

Hey Frank It's about time!  :thumb: Congratulations!

 Just one question does the FELT Valve amp have a softer less edgy signature?

Felt Valve Mod:  Since my green magic marker worked so well, I decided to try and insert some green felt under the feet of my Fet Valve 550 Amp. I liked it so much that I decided to leave it that way.  I can only vouch for the green felt.  By all means be carefull, dont get a hernia trying to fine tune it.  If I knew how, I would put a smiley face here.
