Mirror from Fire TV to Laptop
« on: 13 Feb 2022, 06:12 pm »
Hi,

Here's my dilemma...and I can't find anything on Google.

I want to use my Fire TV without opening my screen and turning on the projector each time I want to make a change/find a song/et cetera.

I have a Windows 10 laptop that I would like to redirect the video to.

In other words, I need to take the video from the Fire TV and mirror it to my laptop.

Is this possible?

PLEASE - I am NOT trying to mirror my laptop's screen to the FireTV. The other way around.

Thank you.

What is your setup in detail? Do you have the Fire TV Stick plugged into an AVR? Are you accessing audio apps like Spotify through the Fire TV Stick? Which ones specifically?

You may be able to use the Windows 10 Alexa app or an Amazon Echo to control the Fire TV Stick. If it's Spotify or paid Tidal you are using, you should be able to use the Connect feature in each of their respective Windows 10 apps to direct their audio output to the Fire TV Stick.
