Title: new to omega

I just received a pair of Super 7MKII monitors...my first experience with single driver speakers and so far I am really enjoying them....They sound better than my KEF Ls50's driven by an Audio Research VSi60.  I was going to sell the amp but decided to give these speakers a try first.  I think the AR likes the higher efficiency of these speakers and maybe that's why I'm preferring the sound so far...

In effect you got a new amp as well. I'm sure your amp's personality completely changed looking at a speaker with no xover and 9 or 10 db more efficient.

...2 week update....the Vsi60 really likes the load of the omegas...yes, seems I have new speakers and a new amp....
