Wall Mounting Vcc1
« on: 20 Apr 2012, 10:17 pm »
Wondering if any of you Vandy experts can help me.

Picked a Vcc1 used, and thinking of a wall mount.  Any ideas?  Does anyone know what the threading is for the two holes on the bottom?

Thanks,

John

John, I suppose the VCC-1 can be wall mounted, but plan to leave maybe 2" of space behind it, since the speakercable terminals and the wall-proximity (bass-reduction) switch are on the rear.  Also, the system is vented on the rear.  The bottom plate's holes are 1/4-inch course thread and spaced 5-1/2" (C-to-C) left-to-right and centered front-to-back.

Pls keep us informed of your progress.

Hi!

Was thinking of affixing the Vcc1 to a hardwood "stringer"  which would in turn be affixed to a couple of L-shaped shelf brackets,  Assuming big enough brackets,  I'd have a few inches behind the speaker.  I'd like it pretty close to the wall, since the mains will be North Creek Eskas, a "near wall specific" design.  I'll let you know what I come up with.

Thanks!

John
