Love the 2B-LP.  Wish Bryston still made them.  Plenty of power in a compact no frills package.

It sure was an example of design elegance and maybe the only amp ever made that was indestructible.
The 2B (dash :)) LP would be an interesting candidate to put up against those new $300 Class D amps, even one at double the rated power, the 2B will wipe the floor with it. That is, if during the competition you haven't already had to scrape your 'value purchase decision' off the floor.

An audio engineer friend of mine says he would take that old 2B over any current amp from any other company. According to him, too much emphasis is placed on clever, innovative circuit design and not enough on the actual performance. Bryston is the only company he can name that will happily use a very conventional circuit when an excellent implementation of it will outperform more interesting approaches.
