I've generally used Wi-Fi extenders (or routers) that are plugged into the AC outlet and run an Ethernet cable to the device, instead of Wi-Fi USB adapters. Then use Wi-Fi based streaming (AirPlay, Roon, whatever) to send music.
But, I think if you've managed to set up the BDA-3.14 with a Wi-Fi USB adapter into one of the USB-A ports labeled USB Accessory, then you want the selected input to be STREAMING, not USB. (USB 1 and USB 2 are for the two USB-B ports labeled USB Audio).
