Out of 13 Whitesnake studio albums that I own and love, 1981's "Come An' Get It" is very dear to me and I have really funny story about it.It was summer vacation of 1981 and I just got that album. So next day, my dad was already gone to work and my mom just left around 8:00am.We lived in the apartment building at the time and I just saw her crossing the street, going towards the street car stop.I'm thinking, "the coast is clear" and I'm gonna introduce new 'Snake to our neighbors. The music is cranked and I'm rocking on my bed to "Hot Stuff" song, when all of the sudden my mom opens my bedroom door and screams at me, "What the hell are you doing boy, the whole building can hear you".I looked at her and said, "Oh no, what you doing here, shouldn't you be on your way to work" and she said "I was, but I forgot the store keys".So she grabbed the keys and left and I turned the music down.Didn't really get in trouble for it.To this day, I still love this album.
