VDA-1 and resistor sonics

Dusty:

I'm loving the VAC-1/VDA-1 combo.

Quick question about resistor sonics, and I know the sound of different bits like this are are open to much discussion...  You seem to use Dale resistors in places I'm assuming are critical circuit areas.  Could I get your take on resistor sonics, particularly in the VAC-1?

Thanks,

There are no resistors in a VAC-1, so I assume you meant VDA-1?
I chose the Dale/Vishay's because of their low noise and sound for the money. Various resistor types and brands do sound different in key areas.
I like good metal films for most applications. Carbon comp types can also sound good, but usually aren't available in 1% tolerance, and their value tends to drift over time.
