Title: Titan II LE Driver Impedance
Post by: cfraser on 19 Feb 2009, 08:03 pm
I'd like to know what the impedance of the driver is. You know, some spare largish Bryston amps sitting around, time on my hands, in a DIY mood... :icon_twisted:  I'm not saying I'm going to do anything along this line, but you know...  Thanks.

There's nothing wrong with the built-in amp.

SV12 is a 4 ohm nominal load. Keep in mind, that without the processing provided by the Titan XL electronics, it will be -3db around 38Hz.

Thanks. I realise the amp/driver/filter/enclosure are really tightly integrated, physically and electronically. It's just something for me to think about...can't leave well-enough alone. :)
