How come nobody wants to come over and meet my zoo?
So Igor's a little grumpy from time to time, nobody's perfect.

GE table radio. 60's??
Still works, but takes a long time to settle down. I'd like to get it tuned up, and get the phono input working.

That's really a nice unit you have there.
I think it's worth invest in getting it up-dated.

These aren't mine but I thought they'd fit right in here: the Yamaha 'ear-shaped' speakers. Judging by the ad, those 'crinkles' might not be 'factory-issue'.

I saw a pair of "Ears" at a thrift. The woofer cone is made out of Styrofoam.  :o

Needless to say I left them.  :)

A tight perm, a bottle of Mateus and some "Hear Muffs" would get you where you wanted to go back in the day.  :D

They would be broken in nicely if they were.  :icon_lol:

Fender made a little guitar amp that way once. (Styrofoam cone.)

It is not "highly sought after" on the used market.

Well, well... been a long time since I've been back to this site, SO glad to see the thread I started has such legs. I loved looking at all the pics. I think some of my favorites are the vintage black face Sansui gear, but the old classics are great too - like the Quads and refurbished Lafayette tube amps, wow! But in all this I don't recall seeing any pics of Dynaco A25s - the most classic of classic speakers. Too pedestrian? Maybe.

Missed them, thanks! I still think these are some of the best speakers ever made. Not to mention the quality of woodwork done.
