Apologies if this is off topic...

I ride motorcycles, and I'm somewhat sensitive to the windroar that often goes with it.
So, I use foam plugs.

I do see some makes and models of noise canceling earbuds, for example
Pioneer SE-NC31c
Sony MDR-nc13
JVC HA-ncx78
Klipsch, etc

Have anybody tried any of these at all, and preferably in a noisy environment?

I look forward to hearing replies as well.

I am also sensitive to the wind rush around my helmet.  I went to an audiologist and had custom ear plugs fitted.  They were initially made with a baffle to let some noise in but I didn't like them and had them remade as solid plugs.  I always wear them and am very happy with the noise elimination.  I am concerned sometimes that maybe they block too much noise.

I have never used noise-canceling plugs, but I have really like the Etymotic in-ear phones on the bike.  For me, foam plugs tend to accentuate the low-level drone, which I find fatiguing.  The Etymotics seem to have a much more uniform attenuation, so they lower all frequencies more uniformly.

I use these, which are no longer made, so I can feed music too:

I recently ordered some plain old plugs, but I haven't tried them yet; I hope they work similarly.
