2023 Biker Scum Season
« on: 5 Mar 2023, 06:31 pm »
2022 got one reply
Maybe we'll get TWO people to reply this year?
Garbage cans blowing in the street kind of day but so what, it's time to go riding!

I picked this up last May.

I am so waiting for the warm weather, it's been a very cold winter.

Sweet BMER !! :thumb: :thumb:
I sold my Ducati, it needed too much work , and I was driving around the city like an idiot !! Speeding !!!!!
So I got a sweet Harley Sportster , 2007 , with only 2800 miles on her . Shipped from New Hampshire, $4500
I love the white color !! The ride is fantastic, I’m thrilled
I’ve been riding all winter when the weather permits, which has been often

Hi Stirman,

Your Harley would cost double the price as they really hold their value here in Australia. Enjoy your ride :).

Cheers Rod

Long live the Sporster!
I’m finally back on the FJR1300 after a prolonged Covid work from home hiatus.  The only good thing about being back in the office is the 25 minute commute against traffic with one stop light and some nice backroad options.

I'm so with you on that, my ride to work is mostly two lane roads, more than one light but still, enjoyable. The FJR looks great!

That is a way cool Sportster, may be the first white one I've seen and it doesn't appear to have been modified to death. Very sweet.

Flying ants are boiling out of the ground so time to ditch the Cee Bailey PopeCycle windscreen and stick on the Palmer Products one.
It even has vintage bug guts on it for when I stop to pose!

I know it's not road legal, but I hope to get this thing dirty soon. If I can ever get away from work that is.

Why worry about legality?
Yesterday some kid on a mini bike came flying up Main St. and then down my street with no helmet, a grin from ear to ear...

I rode up to Ephrate, PA for their monthly bike gathering and while there was a LOT of cool stuff there I really liked this '75 electric start Commando:

I bought a Triumph Sprint RS a few years back, the original owner crashed it and did the cheapest possible repair job on it.
I finally took care of the last issue, pulsing front brakes.
Galfers from Spain shipped from Italy to a British bike in the USA.
These things get around.

Nice bling Steve, and solves an issue too. What's not to love. Stay safe out there.  8)

Knock on wood, this year hasn't been too bad with the cars.
Maybe they all got their licenses revoked.

Today is National Motorcycle Day which I think should fall right after National Pickle Day.

Because I have this other hobby, I couldn't afford a bike with a motor or extra gears.

Beautifully done!  Hang it on a wall when not riding and call it art.

Nice set of wheels there. :thumb: And at least you are smart enough for a front brake on the bike. And depending on your bicycle hobby needs, sometimes that cuts into your audio hobby funds as well. #toughlife for sure. I have several pedal powered at home, but mine are more meant for getting dirty and going fast.

Sunday morning in July is made for a fast ride before everybody wakes up and clogs up the roads.
