I have been working on placement of my NX-tremes and I have realized that I am struggling in part because the tilt of the speakers and the high tweeter height is putting me really off-axis vertically if I am very far away.

My question is whether anyone has tried tilting these forward? If so, has that worked well?

This speaker maintains the same vertical response over a really wide range. So whether you are on tweeter axis or below it, the response doesn't change.

The red line is on tweeter axis at just 1 meter away. The orange line is moving up 4". The yellow line is moving up 8", and the green line is moving up 12".



Also, the tilt helps center the response to the middle of the room vertically and should help balance out the in room response.
