Sapphire XS status?

Sapphire XS status?

Some time ago there was talk of an XS version of the Sapphire XL being planned.  Is this uber version of the XL still in the works?

No change to cabinet size to my knowledge. IIRC the XS was supposed to have  upgraded silver interior wiring, upgraded internal components and binding posts.  Wonder what, if any difference, substituting the Scan Speak 9700 tweeter for the 9500 would make.....

Frankly, it would be very difficult to improve the XL. As so many have said, it is "just right". Wait till you see some of the new reviews  :D

Well that is good then.  I won't have to shell out any more money (except for the XL center).  From the tone of Mikes post those reviews MUST be VERY complimentary, and rightfully so.

JUst the other day I was listening to the sapphires again and just could not believe that those speakers could produce such a big sound
