Title: Any use non-Apple tablets to control BDP-1?
Post by: topher_m on 12 Aug 2011, 08:07 pm
Hi

What about the Samsung android tablet, HP Slate or touchpad?

Not sure I want to drink the apple koolaid but a tablet would be cool.

Thanks,
Chris

Better watch what you say. A lot of Apple fanatics on this sight.

Ah the resistance is strong in this thread  :icon_twisted:

Here is a list of clients for various usage models.
List of MPD clients (http://mpd.wikia.com/wiki/Clients)

If you select a device without shiny round corners, it's probably worth looking into how committed that tablet and app developer really are, as the market is getting more and more fragmented.   Sadly there's really no clear competitor yet to the mother-ship.
