Anyone played Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2 yet?

Was wandering through Costco today and saw it for $26.99, so I picked it up.

I've only ever really talked to one person that's played it. While she enjoys it, I'm not terribly familiar with her taste in games. So I don't know if I'd particularly care for it or not.

But I figrued that at $26.99 it's worth a crack. And if it sucks horribly, I can take it back to Costco.

Gotta love the 30 day satisfaction guarantee...

NFS:HP2 is the reason I bought the Xbox. I was a fan of the older NFS titles, and this pushed me over the edge to buy a new game machine. Turns out to be a nice game, but there are other better racing games for the Xbox in my opinion. I have put in MANY hours and miles on this game.

What other racing games would you consider to be better on the 'box? I no longer care for the racing simulator type games (GT, Sega GT 2002, etc). I much prefer the unrealistic arcade stye racers.

Actually, I like the sim ones better. But, when I'm tired of driving carefully, I play Burnout. Great wrecking game. No driving skill required, it practically drives for you. Burnout 2 should be great as well.
