Now that Oppo digital is not making blu-ray players anymore, I am wondering what my next player should be. Who makes a good quality blu-ray player now? Any suggestions? Sony ubp-x1000ES?

Thanks for the replies. I had a Cambridge Audio CD player that did not respond to commands well. Took too long to power up or down, to load a disk and had a really annoying habit of closing the drawer before I could get the disk all the way out.

agree. I had a X800 and the new  203 is so much better for just loading a disc and playing it. The X800 has all kinds of apps that I wont use (my LG OLED TV has everything I need except for SACD/CD/BD support!).

Panasonic DMP-UB900 or just buy a OPPO 203 before they are all gone and since OPPO customer support will still be supporting their players, I do not have any concerns.
