Just saw this on Jambase, and Soldier is only a 90 minute drive for me. Might have to catch at least one of the shows. I know it's a massive place so I wonder if it will sell out?

Seem like it would be tough.  $200 for the good seats!!
If they webcast I will probably just rent a PA and projector and BBQ.

Last time I traveled for pleasure to Chicago, I missed my son's birth as he was unexpectedly born almost 6 weeks early!

I married a great woman, so instead of being an huge issue, it's a fun story to tell.

My youngest son actually makes a big deal about it, as he loves to remind his older brother that dad was there for his birth.

I'm a bit disappointed there is not actually a full tour.  I'm not going to Chicago to spend a fortune , to stand in shitty seats with 100,000 thousand people.  Never really liked huge shows like this.  I might tune in for live TV broadcast. Is that what Phish does? Settle for a listen of the shows I guess.

I think its great the band has decided to get together for the 50th celebration, but I thought it would be more than just these dates at Soldier, especially for the 50th annv.  I think it will be insane though and some great shows
