Hi guys, thought it was time to start a new thread around a confirmed date.
Chime in with confirmations and perhaps we can get a realistic sense of the equipment swapping we'll be doing.
If there is any issue with jambalaya speak now.

Yeah, probably the 24th for me. A few hours at least.

Jambalaya fine - but, I'm a picky eater - so don't make anything based on my wants. Whatever works for you.

The modded MMG's (as requested) and a turntable to finally give that stellar phono section in your Mapletree a workout. Some wine, beer or desert, too? It will make Denise happy for at least a couple hours

2 pairs of headphones - Sennheiser 580s, modded with woodies and blue dragon cable and a pair of Audio Technica W1000s

and of course 2 growlers of Boulder Creek Micro Brew and some select CDs for our listening pleasure

I figure we'll play the playlist by ear.
Not going to be a two hour classical marathon, unless we feel compelled as a group to do that.
I believe you could bring your favorites and we'll take it from there.

I'm hoping to be able to come by on the 24th and I'll probably bring my wife along if that's OK. I can bring a Paradisea tube DAC, an inexpensive transformer-based passive pre-amp (Electra-Print PVA), and a X10v3 tube output buffer. If anyone wants to hear the effects of an inexpensive upsampler I can bring a Behringer upsampler (the SRC2496).

I could also bring a SqueezeBox3 (unmodified) and a laptop to drive it if you don't already have one set up.

I will definitely bring some music, some snacks and beverages.

I'm still planning to attend. What time do you plan to start? Will you be sending directions?

Perhaps we should keep a list of who's bringing what equipment. If I remember correctly, you're hoping to check out source equipment. At various times I offered to bring a tuner, a DAC, and a modified Squeezebox. Let me know if this is still the plan and if you want all of this or if you'd prefer to focus on a smaller set of things.

I think I might be out, too, for the 24th. Not 100% positive at this time

I'm in Chicago and won't arrive back home until wee hours of Saturday morning. Then I'm off again Monday for an overnite away. I'd like to spend a bit more time with my family in the 40 hours I might have at home this weekend.

I just got back from my local audiophile emporium ready to do a second mortgage just to stay the bleeding.
The new qauds sound great but not 10k better than my rig, not to mention the 10k front end they had.
I have a fantastic new stereo experience.
It takes 600w into 4ohms to light these entry level maggies up.
Look forward to doing the seafood jambalaya, any special requests? I'll still be happy to accomodate diet.
Sources, and powercords/iec/ power conditioning, powerstrip will be welcome as well.
