My older gear:

Twin Dynaco ST-70s with recent VTA mods (circa 1961 & 1964 - in triode mode, vertically bi-amped):

Lazarus Cascade Basic tube preamplifier (circa 1990 - recently re-tubed with some fresh caps and resistors where feasible):

Sterling Acoustics speakers circa 1995 (Focal 8K woofer in a transmission line, Focal 5K midbass, Seas tweeter, proprietary passive crossover):

New to AudioCircle and to vintage gear. Just received this Pioneer SX-780 a week ago and I'm loving it. Sounds wonderful and the switches and tuner dial are glorious. Basically mint condition and looks practically new.  :D

Thanks, just edited the post and I think it let me select the image properly now. I don't see most of the images on this thread, including mine, for some reason though.  :?

Success! Got the pic up now and I see everyone else's. Not sure if it was new account permissions issue. But, yea!

I'm a new member. One of my interests has been refurbishing Garrard and Thorens turntables. Here are some pictures of a Garrard 301 that I completed recently:

For sure. Hartley went big with these kahunas--incredible bass. I hate to part with the speakers, but I'm thinning the herd.

Here's a Heathkit FM-3 tuner.I took this picture of it on the back of my truck.I used rough cut pine from a mill and Richard Holts old lobster trap slats seasoned from the bottom of Casco Bay (Portland,Maine)...Mark Korda Those rubber feet came off the bottom of a trawlers net. They are stamped out of old tires and are called cookies. These had seen some time fishing the banks of New England.
